    1pm ish,
Three ragged trousered people turned up at our door in Old Kilpatrick and immediately began begging for sustenance for mind and body. We read them some poetry and gave them ( at a small charge) soup, tea and sandwiches. They went on their way an hour later feeling nourished in mind and body.

I think Blue gave a few longing glances at our spare bed on the way out, and they continued their trip up country. It has to be said I accompanied them for a grueling three miles, just to put them on the right track and pass on all of my cycling expertise.

    Alan.
